Our adventure packages include full board for the entire stay. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day or, depending on the day's activities, prepared packed lunches for when you're out and about in nature.

All meals are freshly prepared, either in the lodge kitchen or outside over an open fire, which further enhances the nature experience. We place great importance on nutritious, balanced meals that are designed for active days in the wilderness.

Regional specialties from Lapland are also an integral part of the catering, providing an authentic insight into the local food culture and rounding off the overall culinary experience.

Children are very welcome here! We offer a reduced rate for our young guests under the age of 14 – they pay only 50% of the regular price.

Snowmobile: Only persons aged 16 and over with a valid snowmobile license ("Förarbevis för snöskoter") or an equivalent recognized driver's license are permitted to drive. Children are not permitted to drive snowmobiles themselves, but may ride as passengers if the following conditions are met:

• they can sit securely and hold on tight
• they wear an approved helmet and suitable protective clothing
• be able to stand firmly on the footrests (when riding on a snowmobile)
• they are physically able to cope with the weather and cold

Pets are always welcome here, because they too should be able to enjoy nature. However, we ask that you clarify with us in advance if you plan to bring your animal companion, so that we can ensure that everything is optimally prepared. This way, nothing will stand in the way of a relaxing stay for you and your pet.

In the service building, you will find shared toilets and showers as well as private bathrooms. A modern washing machine and dryer are also available for your use.

There is also a cozy lounge where you can eat, enjoy game nights, or warm up by the fireplace.

3-4 layers of clothing are ideal. Functional underwear and good protection for your feet, hands and head are particularly important.

We provide our guests with winter overalls as part of our "Snowmobile Pure" and "Lapland Winter Adventure" experience packages.

In winter, temperatures range between -5° and -35°C. The air is very dry and there are long periods of stable high pressure, interrupted only briefly by low pressure systems bringing snowfall and wind.

Summer in Lapland is marked by the midnight sun from June onwards. During this time, the sun does not set, making night feel like day. Many hours of sunshine and warm temperatures of up to 30 degrees are not uncommon. However, occasional rain showers also occur in the far north.

Between December and March, the days in Swedish Lapland are significantly shorter and around the winter solstice, the sun sometimes does not rise above the horizon at all. Nevertheless, there are several hours of twilight and residual light, which provide atmospheric, usable daylight for activities such as snowmobile tours. Tours are specifically adapted to the light conditions and enable safe experiences in a unique Arctic atmosphere.

Current Weather

Storberg is a small, remote settlement in Swedish Lapland and belongs to the region around Arvidsjaur in the province of Norrbotten. The town is nestled in a typical northern Scandinavian forest and lake landscape — characterized by endless coniferous forests, moors, clear waters, and a very low population density. Storberg itself consists of only a few buildings and farms and is not a classic village with infrastructure, but rather a quiet wilderness location.

Storberg is located just a few kilometers from the Arctic Circle and thus at the same latitude as parts of Siberia, Alaska, and Greenland.

There can be many mosquitoes in Lapland during the summer because the summer months are warm and there are numerous wetlands where mosquito larvae reproduce rapidly.

Mosquito season typically runs from June to August, peaking in July.

To protect yourself, wear long-sleeved clothing, use insect repellent containing DEET and use mosquito nets. Natural remedies such as essential oils offer only limited protection.

If you are bitten, you should cool the area, avoid scratching, and use anti-itch creams if necessary.
