Our Team

Our team is the heart of Storberg Fjällgard. Each individual contributes to making our guests' stay unforgettable. As different as we are in our personalities, here we all share the same vision and pull together.

Christian Meister

Owner of Storberg Fjällgard AB and the wilderness school Naturabenteuer Niederrhein.

My heart beats for the wilderness and nature. I discovered Storberg Fjällgard over 10 years ago and lived here for six months. Since then, this special place has been a part of my life. For many years as a guest and since 2025 as the owner and managing director.

I see one of my tasks as making natural spaces accessible to people, creating sustainable outdoor experiences and opening up spaces where our guests can arrive and relax. Storberg Fjällgard is the perfect place to make all of this possible.

I am married, have a daughter and live with my family in Germany in the Lower Rhine region or here at Storberg Fjällgard.

Celine

Nature is my teacher, companion and source of inspiration.

As an adventure and wilderness educator, I have been accompanying people on adventures for several years, where we grow, learn and let nature touch us together.

Here in Storberg, it is particularly important to me to be there for our guests and to make their stay an experience they will fondly remember. Whether it's a slice of cake enjoyed in the warm silence in front of the fireplace, marveling at the dancing northern lights in the night sky, pleasant conversations or unexpected encounters with animals — all these moments, from the very small to the very large, make this place so special.

I look forward to sharing the magic of this place with our guests and welcoming you here.

Wilderness Educator, Survival Trainer

The Scandinavian wilderness awakens my thirst for adventure. I like challenges, overcoming them and surpassing myself.
At the same time, the wilderness is also a mirror that shows me what I need.

I am delighted to accompany our guests on their adventures in this beautiful landscape.

Paramedic, Outdoor Guide, Survival Trainer

I appreciate spending time in nature in many different ways — as a way to relax, to discover new things, but also as an opportunity for personal development. That's why I'm delighted to be able to accompany people on their outdoor adventures in and around Storberg. When traveling in northern Europe, I prefer to go on foot, on touring skis or by canoe or kayak.

Nature and Wilderness Educator, Youth Leader, Survival Trainer

As part of my work, I am on the road almost all year round, sharing my enthusiasm for the wild and unspoiled. Up here, in the seclusion of Lapland, where overwhelming nature intertwines with our modern world, it is a particular pleasure for me to create comfortable nature experiences and enjoy romantic adventures together with our guests.

Outdoor Guide, Survival Trainer, Wilderness Educator

For me, nature is more than just a place beyond civilization. It is a home, a mirror and a place of infinite diversity and mystery.
Time and again, I set out to delve even deeper into this world and get to know it and myself even better.
For almost 10 years now, I have been accompanying groups in nature, sharing my experience and knowledge and ensuring that we treat each other and nature with respect and appreciation.

Hans

As primeval forests drew me into dark fir trees, I quickly arrived in Sweden. I breathe freedom when the morning awakens, walk my path, which I have made for myself. Independence carries me through space and time, which is why I greet you with warmth. As a "mechanic," I am in demand here, because when driving, things sometimes go wrong. I know how to understand and repair things because you only understand when you try it yourself. In Storberg, I am allowed to work on the snowmobiles and show what I can do now. They leave lasting tracks in the snow and ice, the engine roars loudly, the cold becomes quiet. The northern lights magically attract me, I can still admire them late at night. They show me paths, quiet, colorful, and wide, a mirror of the soul — free, wild — I am ready. Whether fishing, sauna, campfire, with me there's always adventure.

Gerhard & Petra Baader

Gerhard and Petra have made Storberg what it is today. Since 2008, they have continuously developed the farm and guest business, giving countless guests the opportunity to experience Lapland up close over the years. After all these years, it was time to step back and take it easy.

Gerhard and Petra are still available to us in an advisory capacity and will continue to be seen regularly in Storberg.
